Nephrology

Our nationally recognized physicians treat and manage all aspects of kidney disease including specializing in transplant, diabetes, hypertension and research. Our physicians are leaders in the healthcare community serving on various medical boards and committees. We offer convenient office locations and round at hospitals across the entire Phoenix metropolitan area.

K-DEPT

The key to our care model is our K-DEPT clinic. The goals of the clinic are to delay the progression of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and the onset of End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD), improve your well-being and knowledge, and prepare you for your chosen treatment options if kidney replacement therapy becomes necessary. Our clinic provides education and treatment relating to anemia, hypertension, diabetes, nutrition, social services, and ESRD treatment options (transplant, home dialysis, in-center dialysis and no treatment).

Dialysis Access

The goal of our dialysis access program is to avoid hospitalization and missed dialysis treatments for access related procedures and events. We prevent and manage potential problems through the continuous monitoring of our patients' accesses. We perform procedures at our free-standing dialysis access center and Phoenix St. Luke's Medical Center. Services include scheduled and emergency dialysis access procedures and peritoneal dialysis catheter placement.

• Our dialysis machines are among the most advanced in the industry. The B. Braun machine is capable of easily customizing many aspects of the treatment. This functionality is not available with other dialysis machines.
• Our water treatment system provides ultra-pure water through heat disinfection which helps reduce the bacteria and other contaminants that can negatively impact the quality of dialysis you receive. It does this through nightly disinfection while most other dialysis facilities address these contaminants monthly with chemicals.
• Our dialyzer reuse program uses a special cleaning stage that improves dialyzer performance leading to improved outcomes.
