Home Dialysis

Southwest Kidney Dialysis (SKD) encourages patients to “experience the difference” of our physician-owned dialysis facilities. Our home dialysis program allows patients flexibility and control over their dialysis care.

Peritoneal Dialysis

We offer continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD) and continuous cycling peritoneal dialysis (CCPD) options. Our nurses are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ensure a high level of care is maintained outside our facilities. They follow patient progress with monthly clinic visits and are a daily resource for patient needs.

Home Hemodialysis

Our home hemodialysis program offers greater freedom, flexibility and convenience with the NxStage(r) System One(tm) with PureFlow(tm) SL. The NxStage machine is easy to use, small, and portable for travel. This daily dialysis option can reduce the need for existing medications, and patients report improved well-being. Our experienced nurses are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to answer questions and provide support.
