Chronic Kidney Disease Clinics

We refer to our Chronic Kidney Disease clinics as K-DEPT (Kidney Disease Education, Prevention and Treatment). The goal of K-DEPT is to slow the progression of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and delay the onset of End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD), improve patient well-being and knowledge, and prepare patients for their chosen treatment option. Our clinics provide a systematic approach to patient education and treatment related to anemia, blood pressure, diabetes, nutrition, social services, and ESRD treatment options (transplant, home dialysis, in-center dialysis, and no treatment).
